Men’s ministry at Grace seeks to provide the men of our church fruitful contexts for spiritual growth and discipleship through the study of God’s Word, prayer, support and accountability.
Axios
Axios is the men’s discipleship ministry of Grace Fellowship. The name is taken from the Greek word for “worthy” in Ephesians 4:1 — “Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.” That is the aim: not simply knowing more about God, but becoming men whose lives increasingly match the calling we’ve been given. Men work through the study on their own during the week and then gather in small groups to talk honestly about what they are learning and living, and to encourage one another as followers of Christ.
This year we turn to the life of Moses — a 22-week study drawn from Exodus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. Moses’ story is the story of a man God formed slowly: in the years before the burning bush, on the mountain, in the wilderness, and finally at the edge of a land he would not enter. Along the way we meet a God who calls the reluctant, delivers the powerless, and stays faithful to a people who are anything but. The study is built for formation, not just information. Each week pairs Scripture and substantive reading with simple daily rhythms — a morning prayer drawn from the week’s passage, slow meditative reading, and a brief evening reflection — so that what we study has room to shape how we actually live.
Men’s Retreat
Join us May 2027 at Shadow Mountain Resort in Palm Desert. The weekend begins with a bbq at 5:30pm on Friday and concludes by noon on Sunday. Our theme this year is Grace at Work, and we will be exploring how our faith in Christ intersects with our lives Monday – Friday. Cost is TBA, and scholarships are available upon request. This is a great opportunity to connect with the men of our church and grow in Christ together.

Tuesday Men’s Bible Study
An interactive weekly bible study and discussion group for the senior men in our church, though not limited to a particular age group. Meetings take place every Tuesday morning from 8:00 – 9:00. Meetings run from September through May.
