As a way to increase the value of neighboring in Costa Mesa, we seek to identify and serve a neighbor in need (widow, single parent, elderly, etc.) by supporting with a manual labor project such as painting, repairs, maintenance, etc. These projects happen every month on the first Saturday.
*Must wear closed-toed shoes
*Address changes monthly*
Eligibility: Ages: 13+
Purpose: Participants get to bless an elderly neighbor with weeding, removing overgrowth, moving tree scraps, etc. Please be prepared for the possibility of a little rain or fog-related wetness as this house is in the marine layer and might be quite drippy.
There will be various projects for volunteers to sign up for at the Kick Off! Types of projects will vary from month to month.
Vibe: Family-friendly (13+), active, fun!
