Sunday, May 7th, 5:45am-10am
The athletes will be running right in front of Grace Church on Red Hill. The race starts at 5:30 at Fashion Island and is 26.2 miles.
What can we do?
*Help setup at 5:45am at Red Hill Ave. and Fisher Ave. This will include a table, chairs, trashcans, and a pop up tent.
*Make homemade signs to encourage runners as they pass Grace Church.
*During the race, wave the signs, and cheer on the runners.
*Pray that the Lord would use us to share His love in mighty ways. (Maybe someone will remember how wonderful the volunteers were and come back for a visit!)
*Dress casually (after all, it is at 5:45AM) Jacket, hat, and water.
How do we get to church if Red Hill is closed at 4:00AM for the race?
