Hands of Grace

For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. Romans 12:4-5

We seek to be a church family committed to caring for one another and building each other up. If you need support, we want to come alongside you, whether it be through prayer, counsel, one-time financial assistance, or other tangible needs.
Please don’t hesitate to let us know how we can help.

Health / Wellness

Helping church members navigate a health condition for themselves or someone they love by providing compassionate relationships to walk the journey with them.

  • Assist with understanding a health condition or disease process
  • Help organize medication schedule
  • Attend appointments to be second set of ears and take notes
  • Connect them with other resources within the church or outside (ie. transportation, community, grief, caregiver resources, respite, etc.)

Grief Connection

Support, hope, and healing after the loss of a loved one through peer-to-peer connections.

Pairing a grieving individual with a volunteer who has experienced the same relational loss but is 4+ years out from their loss. This relationship provides an empathetic friend for those grieving and the understanding to identify tangible needs (ie. babysitting, homecare, grocery delivery, etc.) that can be provided to be a support.

Transportation

Driving people to medical appointments, church, or other activities.

Connection & Encouragement

Proactively reaching out to those facing challenges in their lives by letting them know they are thought of, loved and cared for.

We will reach out in ways like handwritten cards, texts, emails, phone calls, and sharing a meal or a walk. This will not be just a one time thing, but checking-in weekly until the individual is through the rough patch in their life. It will also give us the ability to identify further needs that we can meet.

Home Serve

Assisting in home repair projects

Helping those who could use assistance with manual labor in their home such as housekeeping, putting boxes away, organizing, or yard clean-up. If more skilled handyman work is involved, we will consider finding qualified, licensed individuals willing to offer services at a reduced price or offset costs through the church’s benevolence fund.

Meal Train

Meal delivery for those in need.

Providing meals and groceries after a surgery, the birth of a baby, the death of a loved one, or another significant life event where the comfort of a meal from another can be a help and support.

Prayer

Our prayer team would love to pray for you.

On Sundays at the end of each service people are available to pray with you in our prayer room in the back of the sanctuary. Submit a prayer request below and our prayer team coordinator will send it to our prayer team via email. While our prayer team will use discretion, if for any reason, you would like your identity to remain unknown, please mention that in your request, as we cannot guarantee confidentially through email.

Pastoral Counseling & Referrals

For short-term counseling from a Biblical perspective, we have a few options for you. We also have excellent professional counseling referrals that we can provide upon request.

Benevolence

For qualified applicants within our church family, we often can provide one-time financial assistance for those in need. Please contact us to discuss your needs and how we might be able to help as your church family.
